This is a question we get very often: How is it possible that I can see the company which was on my website with so much detailed information? It is the identification, enrichment and visualization that delvers the value for your company.

 

Step 1 – Identification

Or how to go from anonymous visitors to identified companies? Traditional B2B web analytics is done using IP address analysis. These can be checked against public databases and form a good starting point. Beelert also does IP address analysis, but goes a step further with geographical information analysis (geo-location), where possible. This is done by asking the website visitor once for permission to use the location. This information can be cross-correlated with Google Places & Chamber of Commerce databases to find a company on that location.

This could even deliver multiple companies, but we believe this is also useful information. It provides the sales professional with alternatives: “Beelert thinks that company A has visited your site, but it could be Company B as well.” It results in more Identified companies and supports the pragmatic thinking of each Sales team. If you are presented with two alternatives and one of them is active in your industry and the other is not…it is very likely that the first is the company visiting your site. Other solutions would have thrown away this potential lead! After all, our customers use Beelert not only in the context of online lead generation but also they want answers to questions as:

 

  • Did any of the companies I spoke to earlier have my site visited?
  • Which of my existing customers have visited my site?

 

We use more techniques to get information out of the IP addresses and can cross correlate between IP and Geo-location to make our result more accurate. Last but not least, we are also able to identify individual devices (not persons). This way we have a better understanding of recurring visits as well as multiple visitors per organization. This what makes Beelert so special.

We believe it is about quality results; therefore we leverage our local knowledge to filter out all Internet Service Providers, Search engines and Hosting companies.

 

Step 2 – Enrichment

After identifying the companies it is all about enriching this result with detailed information like contact details, website, social media channels and so on. This becomes even more complex when the companies visit your website from all over Europe. Not unlikely as many of our customer are international. This requires integration of many local data sources and that’s is just what Beelert has already done for you! Besides making is easy for you, it also saves you a lot of time finding this information for yourself.

 

Step 3 – Visualization

Beelert has collected all this information with sophisticated analysis and algorithms, now it’s time to show it to you. Do we show you complicated views with and endless list of features?
